Discover the range of massage techniques I use, how they work and their benefits

Classic massage
Focuses on relieving muscle tension and improving blood flow. I apply pressure and movement to soft tissues, which helps reduce physical stress, ease muscle stiffness and improve joint mobility. By stimulating the nervous system, the massage also helps to calm the mind and support emotional relaxation. Classic massage offers a variety of medical benefits, including pain relief, improved circulation, reduced stress and anxiety (promotes the release of endorphins and lowers cortisol levels), enhanced immune function, better sleep (encourages deeper, more restful sleep by calming the nervous system), and increased flexibility and posture (loosens tight muscles and increases range of motion).

Foot reflexology
Follows the principle that specific points on the feet correspond to different organs and systems in the body. By applying pressure to these reflex zones, reflexology aims to support the body’s natural healing processes. It works by stimulating nerve endings in the feet, which are connected through the nervous system to other parts of the body. Gentle but targeted pressure on these areas can help release blockages in the body’s energy flow, reduce tension and promote deep relaxation. Although it focuses on the feet, its effects are experienced throughout the entire body. Advantages that are excpected with this therapy are improved circulation, relief from headaches and migraines, better digestion and enhanced sleep quality.

Manual lymphatic drainage
Is a gentle, rhythmic massage technique that stimulates the lymphatic system to promote the flow of lymph fluid throughout the body. It is designed to support the body’s natural detoxification process, reduce swelling, and strengthen the immune system. The lymphatic system plays a big role in maintaining fluid balance, removing waste and defending the body against infections. Unlike the circulatory system, the lymphatic system has no central pump and relies on body movement and muscle contractions to function properly. Through light, precise movements manual lymphatic drainage helps direct lymph fluid toward functioning lymph nodes, encouraging drainage of excess fluid and waste products. This technique is especially effective in areas affected by poor circulation, surgery or inflammation.
